Scripture and Song: 40 Day Reflection Devotional
Louisiana award-winning musician, Laura Huval, releases a forty- day devotional book filled with reflection questions, spiritual exercises, scripture meditations, and music as worship
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana. (February 1, 2021) — Scripture & Song: 40 Day Reflection Devotional by Grammy nominated artist and music minister, Laura Huval, is available now. It is a forty-day devotional with reflection questions, spiritual exercises, scripture meditations, and music as worship. The devotional is a culmination of Huval’s gifts of ministering and teaching through faith-based music, and is a prayer companion for Huval’s 2020 album, It's Never Too Late. Huval said, “It is intended to be a simple way for you to reflect with faith-based music and scripture. It will highlight the areas in your faith where you glow and will help you in the areas where you need to grow. You can pray with this devotional during any time of the year.”
In March 2020, Huval released her debut faith-based album, It’s Never Too Late. The songs were inspired by some of her favorite scripture passages, prayers, and life experiences. Her conviction shines through her music and her faith is not compromised in her message.
Huval is the founder of Joyful Noise Ministries, with the mission of “Spreading the Gospel one song at a time.” She uses her gifts of music and teaching to share the Good News, while the ultimate goal of the ministry is to teach people how to pray and worship with sacred and contemporary hymns. In 2020, she became a published artist at Oregon Catholic Press (OCP), which is a Catholic Publishing Company. She has been a guest on Can I Getta Amen Podcast, Many Hail Mary’s At A Time, and has been the featured speaker for various events. Huval was also a contributing writer for the Pursuing Peace Devotional Journal released by the Light Project.
Laura Huval is a member of the family trio, Sweet Cecilia. In 2021, the trio snagged a Grammy Nomination in the Best Regional Roots Album Category for A Tribute to Al Berard, which honors Laura’s father, Al Berard.
